Tyler Herro Scores 30 Points, Heat Beat Hawks

Tyler Herro, Miami Heat.

The Miami Heat came out on fire on Friday night, as a stellar performance from Tyler Herro led them to a 122-113 thrashing of the visiting Atlanta Hawks. Herro showed off his offensive firepower, chipping in a game-high 30 points and a season-high seven three-pointers.

HERO'S HERO: The third-year guard was on fire throughout the game, hitting several key three-pointers. With 2:01 left in the game, he hit a key three-pointer from beyond the arc to seal the win for the Heat and extend the lead to nine points.

DUNCAN ROBINSON EXPLOSION IN THE FOURTH QUARTER: While Herro dominated throughout the game, Duncan Robinson stepped up in the final quarter, scoring 21 of his season-high 27 points in the fourth quarter. That offensive surge proved to be the key to the Heat holding off the Hawks and cementing the victory.

BALANCED OFFENSE: The Heat's victory was more than just a one-man show. Jaime Jacquez Jr. contributed 19 points and Bam Adebayo contributed 18 and played his usual defense. This balanced offense was too much for the Eagles to handle.

Trae Young's Streak Continues: Despite the loss, Trae Young continued his impressive play with 30 points and 10 assists for the sixth straight game. His 30 points and 13 assists nearly tied Oscar Robertson's longest streak in NBA history. Dejounte Murray and Bogdan Bogdanovic also had big games for the Hawks, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Heat's offensive firepower.

Jimmy Butler Out The Heat won with star Jimmy Butler missing two straight games with a calf injury. With Butler out, Herro has become a reliable scorer, which bodes well for the Heat's future, especially with the playoffs looming.
