Celtics History: Dennis Johnson, Kendrick Perkins, Charles Claxton and Andre Turner
On July 20, 2023, the Boston Celtics held a jersey retirement ceremony for former championship point guard Dennis Johnson. He played seven seasons for the Celtics and won two NBA championships. On the same day, former Celtics center Kendrick Perkins made his debut against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but played only 28 seconds.
